Deze handgetufte traploper is vervaardigd uit hoogwaardige wol en ontworpen om duurzaamheid te combineren met ambachtelijk vakmanschap. De loper is gemaakt van 100% wol en gekleurd met natuurlijke pigmenten, wat zorgt voor een milieuvriendelijk en niet-toxisch tapijt met rijke, natuurlijke kleurnuances.
Met een afmeting van 60 x 650 cm en een gesneden pooldesign ontstaat een spel van subtiele hoogteverschillen, wat diepte en textuur toevoegt aan het ontwerp. De gemiddelde poolhoogte van circa 12 mm en een dichtheid van ongeveer 4000 gram per m² zorgen voor een comfortabele, stevige en veerkrachtige loper, geschikt voor gebruik op trappen.
De loper is afgewerkt met een polyethyleen backing, die extra stabiliteit en ondersteuning biedt bij toepassing als traploper.
Elk stuk wordt met de hand getuft, waardoor kleine variaties ontstaan die kenmerkend zijn voor het ambachtelijke proces en bijdragen aan het unieke karakter van iedere loper.

Wool does not need frequent deep cleaning. Its natural properties mean that it generally stays fresh with relatively little maintenance.
Wool is a natural material, and especially during the first months of use, you may notice that your runner starts to settle and develop its own character.
You may see some loose fibres or small wool fibres appearing on the surface. Light pilling can also occur, particularly in areas that experience more friction.
This is a natural part of the settling-in process of a wool runner and does not necessarily mean that your runner is wearing out. With use, the fibres settle and the surface will gradually become more even.
Simply remove loose fibres gently by hand or scissors. Never pull firmly at individual fibres.

Our hand-tufted runners are made with a substantial wool pile of approximately 10 mm. The wool is finished with a latex layer and a cotton backing, adding approximately 3 mm to the overall thickness.
The stated wool weight of approximately 4 kg/m² refers to the wool pile only. The backing adds approximately 1.7 kg/m², resulting in a total weight of around 5.7 kg/m².
Please note: as our runners are handmade, small variations in thickness and weight may occur.
For stair runners, we use a two-ply twisted yarn, where two wool strands are twisted together. This construction is specifically chosen for our stair runners. For our decorative runners, we use a single-ply yarn.
